Incidentally, if sex on a plane is the mile high club...what is it on a boat? The submarine club?

I stumbled across self drive boating holidays on the Canal du Midi yesterday and am a bit obsessed about it at the moment? Has anyone ever done it? We're thinking of doing a week in June and either starting or finishing near Cap D'Agde (which has been on our list for a while).

I'm off to search for a captain's uniform for Hmm now!

I have friends that do it in this country a couple of times a year, they love it. I should think with the added interest of being in a different country it will be a great adventure. It's on my to do list. Go for it!

I did a boat tour trip down it, beautiful spot. Friends of mine have hired a boat and done it several times, they raved about it. Enjoy

Oh yay! Thankfully nothing is dampening my excitement although I may start irritating Hmm...

Have convinced him to let us rent a little day boat on the Thames tomorrow to test our sea legs!

by the big field

not done the boat bit but have done quite a bit of the area round there- loved it, may even consider moving there in the future
