My question really is, what's expected of you at a dogging meet?

Are there any events that are organised on private land (I live in the Midlands England)

Me and my gf went out last night to known site and although when we got there it was busy with likeminded folk, nothing happened mainly due to the other cars constantly leaving and returning every 2 mins. No wonder dogging doesn't happen much when no one has patience and give time for things to happen.

It's always risky. There's a dogging spot local to me and the problem is it is very well known and not just by differs, you can get gangs of kids in cars go there for shits and giggles and there's even been lured attacks on gay men there. I think dogging is a do so at your own risk affair. Who knows what can happen

This is absolutely the case. A "dogging site" is a place where dogging is known to take place. It has to be "known" for there to be a reasonable chance of 2 interested parties being there at the same time. The fact that it is "known" means that spoilers are attracted - the Police, yobs, boy racers, people whose idea of fun is to spoil other people's fun or beat someone up.

This creates a "catch 22" situation. Publicity for a dogging site attracts more doggers but also more spoilers. Most dogging sites seem to be very hit-and-miss these days.

Dogging is essentially outdoor voyeurism. It may be consensual or not, it may involve active participation or just watching. When I started dogging 31 years ago, dogging was about 99% spying on courting couples, which is now illegal. The internet brought a large influx of exhibitionist couples into the scene as well as large numbers of single males, plus the spoilers.

I think it's probably had its day now.
