My friend has suggested instead of doing one big thing for a special birthday to do something every month for the year. It's an interesting thought. What would you choose for your list of 12 things?

I haven't got 12 that's why I was asking

And I never thought about people so the ideas I had seem quite boring now! They included a wing walk, posing for a nude art class, trying stand up comedy, bungee over water

I guess I could make a sexual list but tbh there's not much left i haven't done

Hehehe. Let's think of non-sexual ones then...how about one making something like blowing glass, or making silver jewellery, or millinery or something? I like the ones you've already come up with.

Blowing glass I like it. I have a lot of experience...just not with glass

Making a statement piece of jewellry sounds great too. Will add them to my list of ideas.

Hot air balloon ride. Write a short story and enter a competition. Go busking. Teach a class in something or do a TED talk on something important to you. Write a letter to someone in the future and put it in a bottle in the water.

Volunteer at a homeless organisation. Be a befriender to someone who is socially isolated. Get a rescue animal. Donate to a food bank. And so on.

Weave in 12 charitable acts for every fun experience you do for you.

I like pistol shooting - I could find a local gun club to visit.

I'm thinking one of two might include travel so I could do something like an elephant. I'd actually love to go shark cage diving

Like the charitable ideas but in addition here's mine:

Travel to a new continent

Learn a non-European language

Do something that REALLY scares you (doesn't have to be a thing like wingwalking, could be beating a phobia, speaking publicly etc)

Spend a holiday (Christmas, hogmonay, Halloween) with a different group of people/family - they all do it differently.

Wear a colour you think doesn't suit you

Get a tattoo (if you don't already have one)

Express yourself in an art you're unfamiliar with

Try an event that doesn't appeal to you (a band you're not that into, a film you don't fancy)

Apologise to someone you've wronged

Have a full day where you don't tell one lie

Have a day where you don't spend a penny BUT still a full day

Apply for the dream job you think you have no hope of getting
