went to get my daughters school uniform yesterday and the only jumper her size someone had swapped for their old one and hung back on the rail.

she went with my sister-in-law and when i got uniform home they had put 38" blouses in and a 32" blazer. she needed 34" blouses as she the blazers are big

A nightmare indeed. I shall be waking up in cold sweats thinking of this for weeks.

Have you tried ordering school uniform online from one of the supermarket ranges? they will often have the sizes that the stores quickly run out of.

I used to do that for my son till he grew out of childrens sizes. He's 13 but six foot and wears young mens sized clothing now.

You can save a fortune a week on laundry. just give your clothes to Oxfam.

They wash, dry, iron and mend the clothes then you can buy them back for 50p.

I felt very smug this year.. as I got all my kids school stuff 2 weeks ago..

However, did it all one year to find my son had grown out of it before he wore it.. SO its a fine line.. lol

It is bloody expensive though..

3 lots I have to buy... but all ready.. and I am all ready for them to go back to school

My daughters school is black and meant to have the logo.. but after they lost 3 of hers last year ( she is disabled and has full time TA so I dont see how she can loose it) this year I have brought her 3 plain black ones..and have said unless they are prepared to replace the official one every time she loses one.. then she will wear that..

just was well as school jumper is £18 each.

just over £100 for the uniform and when you add shoes, stationery and school bag on top approx £150. she only one jumper, one skirt will hv to get trousers yet.

how long it will fit is another matter she had 2 lots last yr. shes losing all her puppy fat and growing taller.
