So this morning there was a thread

Basically the guy had never been with a bigger woman before and wondered if it would be different?

I actually think that was a fair question, being with anyone new will always be different.

Ssdly his reason for this encounter was desperation got him lynched. Understandably so.

However I am a size 16/18 and I have to wonder if his post is actually what most genuinely think (particularly off the scene) however just don't admit it?

I don't think it's upsetting, it's more how that preference is expressed. Too much body shaming of either type, we are what we are and no we're not going to appeal to everyone. But just because you like one type of figure doesn't mean that there's anything wrong with the other one x

I honestly don't think it's worth getting upset over.

Popular culture always pushes a certain "look" for people.

I'd sooner look deeper than skin, forge friendships, get to know people, find common ground and interests. I know that I am not conventionally handsome myself and find different things about people interesting.

I saw that thread and to be honest just thought "What a wally!" with his second comment.

It's not the liking of slender women it's the apparent dislike of larger women which is the issue. Many guys want to meet me but whether they'd admit to it or be seen in public with me is another story. The guy (sorry his friend) on the thread you mention was thinking of having sex with a larger lady as an act of desperation because he's not had sex for so long....if that's not fat hating I'm not sure what is, it's certainly not slender hating

I think the problem with the other post was the insensitive way in which the original question was asked and that was the reason for the lynch mob mentality.

However to answer the question here - I honestly don't have a preference other than that there's a connection and a chemistry first and foremost and yes of course there has to be a physical attraction, but for me that physical attraction is not necessarily defined by size or hair colour or length of their fingernails or anything else really - I just find someone attractive or I don't, plain and simple

I don't get upset about the preference of others. It wouldn't be a nice thought that someone has picked you out of desperation because they are having trouble getting meets of their preferred type.

Thankfully I've not encountered this, but I think the fact I like a chat and to establish a connection and meets can take a while to plan because of a lack of free time, I think anyone looking at me from the desperation angle would likely get fed up pretty quickly realising I wasn't an easy option

I don't think that most people think like the poster of that thread-- thank goodness, otherwise only people of a certain shape/size would get meets, fall in love, have relationships etc etc. I think it's not about being slim or big but about how we feel about ourselves which is why we get upset.

Most men on here (sweeping generalization, I know) don't have the sense to say what they are looking for and what their preferences are. We've all seen the cover all base profiles "I love a younger woman but wouldn't say no to a MILF" or "I love a nice petite girl but curves can be hot too". I can;t imagine how a woman begins to wade through the hundreds of men available but when I was meeting I was once tol that my profile easily put off 90% of people but that the other 10% were probably pretty keen to meet me.

Personally, unless a profile made it clear that they liked your type, I;d be wary because (another sweeping generalization) some men will say anything if they think it will get them a shag. Kist look at the white knighting where people contradict themselves repeatedly on the forums depending in who they are sucking up to at any given time

I posted this on another thread a few days back but it sums up my view of the whole thing:

It's got nothing to do with 'real' men liking 'real' women or whatever trite old cliché gets rolled out attempting to flatter one type of womanly shape by being insulting (possibly accidentally) about another. It's simply about the fact that most straight/bi men like women for loads of reasons and in reality don't notice or really care about the bits we hate because hey, boobs or wow, face or phwoar, arse instead. I personally wince looking at my body as a whole, especially in certain positions that make what I consider my most awful bits prominent yet I have never met a guy who has seen my body the same way I do. Perspective is useful.

That's not to say that some men don't have a clearly defined body type preference but if they state that I can just avoid them, either because I don't fit that preference or I don't want someone to want to meet me purely because my body type ticks a box. I am me, not just a fetish. There's nothing wrong with the latter, but it's not why I'm here.

These never make any sense to me as I'm attracted to all kinds of shapes and sizes, I do love larger women and have been a member of various plus size groups and forums over the years when the internet wasn't dominated by social media. But then I also find some slimmer women attractive too. If someone is hot, they are hot regardless of their size, just the same as someone's size doesn't make them instantly hot based on that.

Some bigger women I find sexy, some I don't, same applies for slim women. I think for me its more about how you hold yourself, confidence is a beautiful thing regardless of size.

I find it odd to rule people out purely based on body shape or size. I get that it's preference and some people stick strictly to that, but surely there's always exceptions to the rule. I tend to gravitate to bigger women most of the time, but also find slim women stunning aswell.

I feel like this sort of belittles why people get annoyed on those threads. Personally, I've listened to people have derogatory views on my weight all my life. Whether that's come from a malicious place or just bad wording. I'm sure many of the larger ladies have.

When someone says something about body shaming on a thread, I always try to comment to make people see why their wording/views may hurt. I think others do this too, which is why it can get so heated.

I didn't get chance to answer your question on the other thread. If someone was desperate for a fuck and I knew they didn't really fancy me... yes I would still meet them if I fancied them. We used to prefer meeting women up to size 12 , and didn’t have any desire to meet larger than that . Our preference at the time . We are now very much more into meeting larger women too as long as they are not too into putting themselves down , and are willing to just enjoy themselves . Too many larger women are self conscious and neurotic about themselves , and this is no fun at all .

People having a preference for women who aren't fat doesn't bother me in the slightest. It's people who think those that aren't bothered by weight who make me laugh. Can they not see past their own over-inflated egos that we aren't all the same.

I think the "desperation" thing is something most bigger girls ask ourselves quite often. The misconception that we're easy can make us question any attention we do get but I guess its about being confident in yourself and your bullshit filter.

With regards to how it feels of course its different with a bigger girl but then i can't think of 2 people Ive slept with that have been the same, even those with similar body types. The way we fuck depends on so much more than our bodies.

When I was younger I tended to only date modelesque women. This was simply because my social circle meant that these were the kind of women I interacted with.

I had a bit of a moment in life that saw my business collapse and I went from having everything to virtually nothing. It was at this point that I saw who my true friends were and needless to say those in the social circle disappeared quickly.

You may think wtf is he on about but prior to losing everything people may have seen me as having a particular type of woman I dated but this was never the case for me, it was just the old nature or nurture argument.. I have got a type of woman but it's nothing to do with size, it's simply if I'm attracted to the person.

I have a mixed hotness scale, but size doesn't really come into it (though big boobs are always a bonus). For me, slim or BBW or in between, it's more about the confidence, attitude and presentation.

Unfortunately, though, in my experience, a lot of BBW are often under or overconfident, which I think most people notice most, even at the subconscious level. This affects what people expect or experience.

Now what really does get my back up is when a guy on fab will meet and sleep with a larger lady on fab, but then confesses in the real world will nit be seen out in public or date one because he has an "image/reputation" to keep up

Which sadly I found out about a guy I recently met. Found out through a third party
