I love music of all types, genres and generations! But some songs just really make me feel something inside!

More about the melody than the lyrics, although of course lyrics do help us relate...does anyone else get this?

Some of mine are...

More than words

Fall at your feet

Anything by muse

Anything by evanescence

And weirdly..you grew on me by time minchin...it’s funny yeah but the melody is gorgeous!!

A wide taste is awesome. I'm very similar and there are a number of songs that get me right in the feels for certain moments. One That always gets me is...

The Johnny Cash version of Hurt. Something about the building pulse to the song that really gets me. The words and how they relate to Cash and in some extents myself and people I know. Yup, definitely glassy eyed with that one.

Great shout. Massive fan of NIN but Hurts version surpasses their original. It just echoes the pain so much more.

The Tantric Tea Shop

Yeah! love the 'Cash' version of 'Hurt.'

I was never a fan of U2, but his version of 'One' is also amazing

Love Stevie, her song 'Sara' might well be my all time favourite song. 'Beautiful Child' is devastating too. Both off Fleetwood Mac's 'Tusk' album.

Northern England

"Black" by Pearl Jam. This live version has me in bits every time I listen to it. Listen to the emotion in Eddie Vedder's voice. It builds and builds till 3:50 and then...just WOW!
