Sex at its best?

I just posted this as a status:

"Sex can be so much more than gratification and hydraulics. It can be intense, intimate, mutually desirous and generous connection and interaction."

Of course we are partly animal, and we do have lusts and desires and appetites and needs, and getting those met can be gratifying, whether alone or shared with someone.

But we are cultured animals, with higher faculties. I think the sharing and giving and mutuality and fun aspects can add so much extra richness.

Any thoughts?

My thoughts ?

The best sex is when two or more people enjoy it and all parties are on the same page .

The rest of the time , a connection is all that’s needed and the sex is good .

To get the ultimate there needs to be so much more than one will get from meeting someone on a site like this , and luckily we have that with each other .

I would guess your status , and this thread may put a few people off as it may be seen as a bit intense , but who knows ? You may meet that special person as a result of it

Agree that the great sex is possible when all parties have shared expectations. And that partners who know each other long term can be even better (though some people are great at creating connections quickly).

As for my reasons for posting, it's not really to attract new women. I'm quite fortunate at the moment, in life not just on here. But I guess it is partly in the hope that someone on Fab who I'm already talking to might - in her busy life - read it.

I would like to think, from personal perspective, that with frequency the animal gratification is a diminishing return. It is a cliché worn to impossible smoothness, that the essence of enduring intense pleasure is harbored deep in one's minds in mutual harmony.

Some will dawn upon this in due course, while others will continue to pound and be blissfully content with perpetual short term fulfilment. Each to their own.

My mood reflects what sex I will enjoy more. For example, if I'm feeling kinky and filthy, it useless meeting someone who only wants straight lights off on the bed fucking. You see what I mean, and vice versa. So fantastic sex is being with someone who wants the same and is in the same mood as I.
