can i cut the grass

its 4 in the afternooon

dry and windy here today

is it ok to cut the grass please this time of year/month?

just dont want to ruin it and ive no idea

Yes, those are perfect conditions, just not too short if you have an adjustable cut height

It's potentially a problem if cut during frosty weather, where it's more likely to get burned from freezes. Or very wet weather when you don't get easy clean cuts. Otherwise if dry, it's fine.

Consider adding an autumn lawn feed at this time of year too - but not when cutting. It strengthens the plants and encourages root growth, not green growth.
