I'm not allowed it anymore according to my doctor.

I am publicly grieving the loss of bacon in my life.

What if anything, have you had to give up for good?

Yeah jogging even wearing the right footwear and using the right technique and jogging on a softer surface, I still got ankle and shin problems so had to take up cycling and swimming instead.

Being monogamous.

It’s a hardship but I’m coming to terms with it

Aw booooooo!

You need veggie bacon - it's actually quite nice.

I had to give up smoking a couple of years back - I know it's filthy but I used to enjoy it.

Hiding in the shadows

I've had to give up a lot of things accross my life due to health/physical issues.

Martial arts, rugby, running, sex, coffee, alcohol(for 5yrs) driving(for 18mths)

But give up bacon? Not sure I could!

I feel your pain OP xx

You Don,t need Martial arts for your back to let you know things once you get a weakness there it never goes, 40 years I,ve had mine now but its only ever going to be muscles, if it was your spine you,d be pole axed.
