Not really a complaint just a personal opinion,

I have had a few meets but after the deed is done communication has stopped shortly after where as I'm normally a friendly enough guy to like to keep in touch with the ladies I'm lucky enough to meet.

Is this just the way it is on internet dating or am I doing something wrong?

there could be various reasons why communication has ceased op, easier just to move on

Your status could be the reason? Or could be a variety of other things.

Are you waiting for them to contact you or is it a case of you contacting them and them not replying?

It's not internet dating, maybe they just want one-offs

Have you contacted them and they've just not responded? If so move on.

However, i don't usually contact folk after a social/meet unless they contact me first, in case they don't want to see me again and i don't want to come across as pushy/needy.

1) This is NOT dating in the "traditional" sense.

2) NSA stands for No Strings Attached. Even basic stuff like feeling obliged to communicate can be classed as a "string" for some people.

3) Just put it down to experience. On this journey you will meet all sorts. There's no "right or wrong". Just make sure that it's fun for YOU. If it isn't, then that's the time to take a break and come back when you're ready.

If your meets are on this site, it isn't dating.

The joys of NSA sex. If you want a date in sure this place is not really suited to that

Not after dates at all I just tend to keep it civil is all I've been having casual meets and one offs since I was 18

I just tend to still be friendly with people I've bumped bellies with

You're not doing anything wrong OP. You're probably just a decent guy so this site is probably not what you was hoping it would be. It's just about having sex with lots of people on here mate, nothing more, nothing less. If you're looking for a site that offers sex with friendship then I can recommend one.

This happens me a lot, I assume its cause they fell in love with me during the meet and have to cut off communication with me as they can't afford to fall in love.

We aren't really interested in chit chat a bullshitting on here, even if we would meet Simone again we would message them until we were free to meet, and then we might drop them a line if they were what we were looking for

We find it weird when single guys are messaging like they are Lucy's boyfriend asking how her day was and stuff all a bit weird really

Just assume that your follow up message is added to the hundreds of other messages that they get and this it could be pressure for some.

If you are respectful and turn up for the meet as arranged, that is the extent of being 'civil' that you need to engage in with them.

Don't communicate like you are dating - which a lot of guys here do. Keep it simple, light and easy. As good a lover as you may be, you won't be compatible for most people, is a good way to think of it.

I don't think wanting to keep in touch afterwards nexessarily means you want a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship, just keeping the door open as to the possibility of another meet should all parties want it.

I don't know why folk on here get so defensive about this not being a dating site. I think everybody knows that.

your imagination

Sorry this has happened to you OP... Its a crappy thing to do. Even if someone isn't interested in meeting again they should at least have the respect to say it. We're all adults here (allegedly), and although it might be a momentarily awkward conversation, it sure as hell beats trying to dodge someone for months afterwards or creating uncomfortable situations if you do happen to run into each other socially. I think it speaks more about their character than yours
