To all long-term couples and married couples,

How often do you go out to have fun a week? For example, go for a nice dinner, movies or bowling.

When we can afford it which tends to be a few times a year.

We tend to have fun in other ways, like going for drives, watching movies together, visiting friends etc.

We both have children from previous relationahips so we have every other weeknd 2 ourselves so we always do things on our child free weeeknds =) x

Every week!

Weekends are 'our' time and it's a ritual we stick to, even if it's a cheap meal out. Twenty years plus and already looking forward to next weekend.

We are retired so we are out 2/3 times a week for lunch. If the weather's dry we may go for a drive out and visit National trust properties.

Once or twice a month. I work away from home about 1/3 out of every month so we try to make the most of the nights in too.

We go out anything up to 7 times a week but usually three or four. We don't spend a lot of money but just make sure we spend a bit of quality time having a coffee, a walk and a catch up.

We both work full time and have children.

We try to do things as a family either Saturday or Sunday.

We usually have Saturday nights to ourselves (children usually stay with grand parents) so we make the most of our time together x

We don't go out all that often because we like to save for big holidays (which we go on fairly regularly).

But we do spend our weekends at English Heritage and National Trust properties, usually with our dogs. We have year passes so its a great and cheap way to spend our time together.

Maybe a meal , a walk and a chat , a drink or two , and we do play Pokemon go together too .

On each night we go out we also drop in at local dogging spots and have fun , or look on local updates to see who’s up for a meet .

As often as possible, be it popping to the local or going for a meal.

Obviously swinging has added another dimension to this as we enjoy socializing with others.

We go to the gym together 4daus a week.

After being together for over 30 years we have started being a proper couple again after putting our lives on hold till the kid's grew up.

We are doing the stuff that we never got the chance to do when kid's were younger.

We don't have to talk when out we just enjoy each others company.

Just had a fantastic week off together and had loads of vanilla and swinging fun.
