I don't mind a bit of a beard but I do prefer a smooth, clean shaven face that smells of gorgeous aftershave ... mmmm

Freshly clean shaven, smooth as possible with nice aftershave is my *preference* at all times.

I love beards, but my FWB is clean shaven most of the time and I'm ok with that too.

Personally prefer clean shaven, or a bit of stubble - the missed a shave rather than cultivating it type.

Beards became a status symbol during Henry VIII's reign after he imposed a tax on them thus elevating the wearer's social standing. This was dropped but later reinstated by his daughter to raise funds for the navy.

It's nice to see they're making a comeback, for once i'm feeling a bit fashionable.

I do like beards, just as well really as the husband has always had one!

I'm not into Captain Birdseye, ZZ Top or Father Christmas though

The amount of tax charged did indeed correspond to volume, so you're right, you'd be well and truly fucked.

Mines wider than it is long

Glad to see there's still ladies here who appreciate a good beard. Least I don't need to think of shaving mine off anytime soon
