False.

Young people aged 16 or 17 can drink beer, wine or cider with a meal in a restaurant if it is bought by an adult and they are accompanied by an adult. It is illegal for this age group to drink spirits in pubs even with a meal. It is illegal for people under 18 to buy alcohol in a pub, off-licence, shop or elsewhere

That doesn't prove the statement is false!

I think so too. About 5 years ago, I got IDd in Morrisons Newark by some clown about ten tills away. The person serving me was under 18 and called to her colleague who proceeded to ID me from the back of my head

If it's low alcohol you do.

If it's alcohol free you don't.

Shandy, as in the pop and botanically brewed cola etc are not classed as alcoholic as it's less than 1%

So, alcohol free drinks are classed as alcoholic drinks, so long as they are an alcohol free derivative of a alcoholic drink.

No, I shall try again

An alcohol free wine, beer or cocktail you would not need to be IDd for. It should not flag on the till.

A LOW alcohol drink should still flag up if it's over 1%

The Ye olde shandy and botanically brewed shite is pop.
