Looking to book either Mexico playa carmen, Dominican republic pints cana or Cuba varadero for last week may 1st week June. Oh and had a sneaky look at hurghada too. Pros and cons for those welcome please. Going to make a decision either today or tomorrow

I appreciate those location would welcome the money generated buy your visit....

But I also question whether in the light of recent events over there choice would a wise choice....

The people of those location have a lot of problems at the moment and need to concentrate on their own needs.....

There is a whole world to explore I would suggest revising your options

Sri Lanka. Really interesting place and such friendly people.

Negative - travel. Not good roads so if you your about it takes a bit of time.

It depends on what kind of holiday you want - any of those mentioned will have good resorts with pools and beaches, (especially if you are doing a week?). I suspect Hurgahda will be cheapest as Egypt is desperate to recover it tourist industry

If you can wait to find out..we are off to hurghada 5th October for 1 week....great price..600 each all in with beach front suite..all transfers etc...

Can let you know about it when back if you wish...

Down side to Egypt...so not seeing my wife topless or naked around others...sigh....

Well we finally made the decision and booked.....

Hurghada!! Yay

2 weeks all Inc in a 5 star for the meagre price of 650 quid each what a result. Best make sure I pay it off by credit card in case Thomas cook go under like monarch.
