39-40, how specific is that (They are 31)

If its a genuine preference and not a typo I could imagine they are comfortable with that limited option ....

If indeed it is genuine and they approached anyone out of that range they should be prepared to accept rejection with dignity.....

OP would you relax your age range age ?
