The standards set by men on this site are lower than the standards set by women. I.e. if a woman messages or winks there's a high percentage chance of a response (if they have public pics/attach some), where women get so many messages they make hoops to jump through and can be much more selective with who they respond to. This leads to guys who can't be bothered to message as it won't get read or lost in the others.
