So I have question I need answering (more to do with self esteem). Do woman like dad bods. Is it a turn on for you to see a guy with a dad bod? Or does it turn you off. I have been told since I've gained a little weight due to certain circumstances I now look like I have a dad bod. I'm in the gym alot trying too loose the belly fat but the rest of my body is sort of a gym standard body. (Can send a pic too anyone who wants too see what I mean by a dad bod as i had pic thief problems which caused me too put all pics in friends only)

not sure a lot of women i know care a great deal. they notice other things like self confidence and personality and prefer that over physical appearance. dad bellies are fine mate dont stress about it. saying that getting fit and losing a bit will give you a massive general life and well being boost.

Lots of men haven't liked my shape over the year's,too slim nothing to grab hold off and all the other comments. I don't see that as them being shallow it's just not what turns them on and I get that.

I prefer dad bods. What puts me off is sites like this and the fishing one is when men describe themselves as althletic when they clearly have a dad bod. It makes me go meh and move along!

I really don't get the "Dad bod" thing. Dads come in all shapes and sizes, men who aren't Dads also come in all shapes and sizes, many of which are the same as Dads. So what on earth is a Dad bod? A gentler way of saying overweight? But not all Dads are overweight?

No matter what your body shape or size you aren't going to be attractive to everyone anyway.

So look in the mirror, decide whether you like what you see or not, change what you can or want to, try to love or at least like yourself and your confidence will shine through allowing you to concentrate on other things instead of dwelling on your body insecurities

I don't think there is anything shallow about a person who prefers their partner to be slim or average or larger. We all have different taste and are attracted to different things. It works both way's not just men but women as well. Iv'e always found women with curves far more attractive to me than slim women but that doesn't mean that slim women aren't attractive and sexy because of course they're, just not to me.

Its the need to put people into neatly marked boxes.

I have all the usual accoutrements that any man has. They may work better or worse than others mens bodies. Accept me as i am or reject me accordingly, just dont try to sit in judgement over mem

Sorry, but thats bollocks. Shallow has nothing to do with what people find sexually arousing. And just because someone doesnt like (sexually) how someone looks, doesnt mean they are judging them as a person.

I am assuming you are far from shallow so would fuck anything with a pulse?? Using your perspective on it all of course

In my opinion, it is a thicker build with some cuddly areas, as opposed to the gym type bods, but not big flabby tummies.

No indeed! Some of the men on ths thread have very good bodies I would not call Dad bods at all! I like strong mature men - but I hate flab (including my own!) and I'm afraid beer bellies turn me off.

I think what is ment is nature takes course and the mans body is more natural than model.

I myself do physical work but no gym. Id class myself as dad bod but am happy with myself. And so is my partner.

I think a woman wouldnt want a guy to love the gym.... and himself more than his girlfriend / wife etc.

Mrs prefers slim/toned/athletic guys. Face is more important to her than body though so if she thinks a guy is good looking then average physique is cool.

Bodywise i'm somewhere between athletic, slim, and average and depending on the time of year the one i'm closest to will change. Coming up to winter so less exercise and more carbs means heading toward average/dad bod territory
