Jaffa cakes - a fab forum favorite - are one of the latest products to suffer from Shrinkflation, with packs going from 12 and 24 per pack (single and double) to 10s and 20s. The price per pack alters but leaves the per cake as higher.

Buy the 12s whilst you can find them

to be fair we have been decimalised for a long time - to still be buying things in imperial quantities is surprising

This sneaky way to cheat you out of your money also means that you can end up paying more what you need in total but find it hard to understand why. I'm guessing the box size will stay the same

I think they used to have even more than 12 in a pack - that's just the most recent incarnation

Tredegar

Cadbury’s cream eggs more like sparrows eggs these days! The culprit should be flogged naked through the streets of Aberdeen for such an evil deed!

The abuse of the Wagon Wheel over the years is a national disgrace. Down with this sort of thing!!! I'm told by fans that the Curly Wurly has also been shrunkified. The latest i have found is the Rolo (4 pack in Asda £1) which i am sure has had two (2) of its Rolos removed. Experts are investigating but im sure you used to get ten (10) in each Rolo roll.

Yours, Disgusted of Dagenham.

I thought you meant they'd shrunk the actual jaffa cakes!

Are they still bite sized?

Wagon Wheels used to be massive. I know size isn't everything... but.......!!!!

What gets me is the current craze for 'thins' or 'minis'

Mc Vities choc biscs, Oreos, chocolates.

They're all bloody at it!

Less product for more money!!

I find myself standing in the supermarket thinking " I'm not paying more for less overall weight"

I really need to get out more. Or be put out of my misery

Ever tried Strawberry cheesecake Oreos, love them, but don't see them for sale very often

"What?? I can't handle this, I noticed Crunchies are loads smaller the other day "

Did that with a Double Decker earlier and the chewy bit is less chewy and the crunchy bit less crunchy!!

The world's going to the dogs I tell you!!

Aldi jaffa cakes are still 12 to a pack for 31p. Just as good as the real thing.
