For me it means it's not exclusive, and there is no obligation to arrange future meets or keep in touch in between meets. However what nsa doesn't mean, is the right to mess people about eg make arrangements then cancel without extremely good reason. Nsa to me also doesn't necessarily mean that friendship is not allowed, or that each meet is only for sex.

It means whatever the people involved agree to - both people. Discuss it, because everyone has different opinions. It would be unfair to assume it means one thing when to them it means something else.
