Superman syndrome

do you have superman syndrome do you prefer to not wear your spec's and do you think it puts some folks off as they can get in the way

I only need them for reading writing and typing etc.... otherwise I tend to get my wocking murds fuddled up!!!

I have one eye that is short sighted, while the other is long sighted, and I wear glasses to balance them out, so that I do not strain one or the other.

I don't wear them when I go out, as I can see quite well without them.

However, I believe my glasses give me some kind of gravitas that I need in order to perform my work duties and responsibilities. In addition, they act as some kind of barrier between me and others.

I feel my defence is lowered when I do not wear them.
