first meet fail, advice please

So i am 35 and very sexually orientated, i have had some epic times over the years but with work and family commitments i have been well under the radar and not had sex or any kind of relationship for 18 months. I got talking to an old friend who invited me round to bang, i really appreciated her honesty and lack of games so i jumped at the chance but when i got there i felt nervous and a bit strange and failed to get it up and that just snowballed so i had no chance. This is not the first time it has happened and i could do with a bit of advice before going to the docs, thank you

It's usually psychological. Could be nerves, or the fact that you've built it up too much in your mind.

Try not to think about it too much . Try and relax. Maybe edge yourself before the meet so your systems are all ready to go!

It's either nerves or your hormones are out ... have you ever taken steroids?

I heard ZMA tabs can help (Zinc/magnesium/b6) very good and cheap.

This happened to me last year .. so emabarrassing ..she wouldn't let it drop haha! It was dead.

nerves play a big part on performance sometimes. Viagra is a great help but works better sober. From personal experience hope this helps.

OP what happened is perfectly normal and has/will happen to every man at some point in their life.

Anxiety and worries about performance are probably the biggest erection killer there is.

If you have no problem getting an erection when you are alone and wake with morning wood then there is nothing physically wrong with you and it is most likely the above.

Try not to worry or get stressed over it, you will only make matters worse.

I would recommend taking your time to get to know someone first. Work up to intimacy and don't rush things. Have a few socials with no plans/expectations to play.

Ouch, harsh but very true!

Stay away from alcohol and the !!!

If someone turned up to meet me stinking of either, I would be on my way home in no time.

Social anxiety? 420 and alcohol will eventually make it 100x worse, you'll think you can't function without it and become addicted! Then you'll have serious problems.
