Faster by the Manics samples 1984.

Saint Etienne have taken loads of film samples for their records.

Oh, and Loaded by Primal Scream sampled Peter Fonda from The Wild Angels.

Not sampled but one of my favourite bands, The Twilight Sad, have a sublime track inspired by Edward Scissorhands - Here, It Never Snowed. Afterwards It Did

Definitely worth an honorary mention.
