"Jesus never existed though.." I believe he did exist, but he was no more than an inspirational pacifist revolutionary. He was not famous at all at the time of his death and I doubt many would have paid much notice of the event apart from his followers. If you compare it to today, it's like Joe Bloggs from the next town who said a few good things but never really amounted to much. Would he be given a huge lavish funeral as befitting a visionary leader of his times? Yet his message may live on after his death and others pick up on it and realise he was someone important - so you create the facts to back it up. That's who Jesus was, in my opinion. | |||
