What things did you have back in the day that are worth a small fortune nowadays.

I had a few Evil Kneivel toys. and loads of original Star Wars figures

I don't think I've had anything that would be worth a few bob today. But I did manage to earn quite a bit when I was around 14-16 with babysitting, working in the holidays, and other part time jobs. During the summer holidays especially I'd often have £150-200 a week to spend on whatever I wanted and be completely selfish with, I'd like to have this back, now with Children and a mortgage my brain just won't let me.

Central

Some dolls and teddy bears that are probably worth less than at jumble sale prices then.

But these valuable things are only worth lots of money because most of them were not kept or got broken. If people had kept Batman toys en masse they'd be cheaper now.

Scarcity of popular stuff depends on disposals and supply/demand economics

Preston.....ish

Bought a mk2 escort harrier for £50 in the mid 90's. Parents got fed up with it being in their garage so I cut it up with a stihl saw and sent it for scrap..... There was one on a well known Internet auction site recently for around 20 grand
