For me, 25 is young. I have children that age.

I'd also say on your profile, change your age range.. You'd really be intrested in someone 99?

And if you can't accommodate, maybe a line why.

On a woman's it's generally considered due to having children at home, but often on a males it can make some wonder why

I find men under 30 too young for me - and reasons why they cant accomodate include still living with parents!

Im the same. My general preference is older but that's maybe just due to the people ive met up until now. If someone younger catches my eye I wouldn't say no. Ive also gone above my age range too on occasion.

its not that from what me and the mrs think we have a daughter the same age as you,the mrs would go with someone for that reason

Not really interested in younger women either unless they're not full of themselves and not too busy navel gazing to work on being interesting.

The same could be said for older gentlemen. I've come across many an appealing profile that set the max age to 40, which kill my chances by a mere year! Is there that much difference with one year? You tell me...my range is from 25 to 60, so someone just above or below could make the same argument. It all comes down to individual preferences that should be respected. Move on. There's plenty of fish in the sea

I'm 46 and my age range is generally 10 years either side.

I have a 25 yr old child and I just do not find young guys attractive.

I'd probably bend my rules for a young lady

Very interesting replies from everyone; I kind of get it with most now that they have kids my age so find it off putting. My reasons for not being able to accommodate is that I can't guarantee I can at all times dues to living with friends, and I could imagine questions being asked with a constant influx of woman coming through the door ????

What's the point in age range when a lot of people on here lie about their ages just because they think it's ok to be deceitful. Just be honest about your age if people don't want to meet you just move on don't lie about it
