Just a quick question for anyone intrested in football.

Is the amount of money Man City are spending bad for the league?

The amount they have spent on players is crazy.

Is it time for a salary cap?

I don't follow football... But think that it would even out the game... I always think its so wrong when you see the big teams spending as much money on one player as the smaller teams have for there whole team.

So yes I think that there should be.

salary cap wouldn't work unless it was worldwide.....

I like some of the other ideas like you are only allowed to spend a certain amount of your turnover on wages... and UEFA are bringing in there "fair play" rules that will make sure that books are balances....

will be interesting to see if city sponsor deal is untouched.. or whether it is deemed to be a flouting the rules

i'm afraid its too late for wage caps etc the agents and players are taking clubs for mugs.man city are a nothing club that are trying to buy a trophy at any cost.has anyone thats signed for man city done so becauce they want to play for the club or have they signed just for the cash.the fault lies with the clubs that give out these ridiculas wages i dont blame the players as any one of us would take the money they are getting.it cant and wont last clubs will go to the wall

How do you stop rich consortiums from "sponsoring" their own teams, rather like City are doing with their deal?

The rich guys will always try to be one step ahead.

Sponsorship deals will always be included in "turnover". Maybe FIFA will instruct all the federations to limit sponsorship? Don't see how that can happen
