Did you get a weekly/fortnightly comic as a kid and what was your Favourite.

Used to get Whizzer & Chips. And used to get The Broon's and Oor Wullie annuals at xmas.

Used to get Smash hits too for the posters

Cor was my favourite , closely followed by whizzer and Chips , beezer , the beano and dandy .

Before that was Beano and Dandy

Also Roy of the Rovers

Smut...had forgotten all about that to I read it here

I have a lot of Oor Wullie and the Broons. It was turn about each year.

And they still doing them. Even hard backs looking back in time etc

Had The complete Spider-man on order from the local newsagents. When it stopped they changed it to The Exploits of Spider-man so took out a subscription to that. Got the occasional X-men, and Batman comics too. Also got the first edition of Terminator comic from the early 90's. Still got them all in a big box in the loft.

Beano for me too, as a kid. As I got older I remember getting a comic called Total Carnage, before progressing on to my Dad's Viz comics.
