Assumong you are looking near North London I would suggest either Club DVS in London or Twisted at the Vanilla Alternative. LAM can be good too. Zara du Rose parties ate good but not sure how beginner friendly. Subversion and Decadence probably aren't great for newbies bit are awesome clubs. Torture Garden amd Anti-Christ are more about the outfits and the party but a good starting point if a full on fet night feels intimidating.
