Limbo

There's a few classical pieces which are dreadfully sad but it's the Kinks' 'Waterloo Sunset' which gives me goosebumps in particular as I find it very poignant. For some reason it always makes me very nostalgic for London as it used to be 30-40 years ago, my first job there, the people I'll never see again, the areas that have changed beyond all recognition, the places which no longer exist etc etc. It makes me quite teary

Manchester

The last 2 songs on Bowie's final album.

The way the music spirals as his voice just fades away whilst singing the words 'I'm dying to/ i'm dying too' during the outro to 'Dollar Days' is incredibly powerful and symbolic. The segue then into the last track 'I Can't Give Everything Away' is just amazing. That he was able to load a simple harmonica riff at the beginning of that last track with so much meaning shows what a genius he was. Very moving on a number of levels.

"We all have one. Mine is..

Ain't Nobody, by Chaka Khan (Hallucinogenic Mix), by Frankie Knuckles. The Godfather of House Music.

A beautiful version of the already beautiful original version.

What's yours?

This is an unreal tune! Thanks for sharing! "

If you like Deep house, there is also an awesome cover of Ain't nobody by

Lissat & Voltax. The Andrey Exx & Hot Hotels remix. Another goosebumps tune..

"In The Living Years

By Mick and the Mechanics

Touching words in it makes you think about petty arguments "

Definitely.

Released just after my father died, so poignant. Still brings a tear or two.
