Maybe they been on here a long time or are friends, met in socials etc and others feel safer in groups than on their own. Not all of us new or old members will suck up to others. Did someone have a go at you op?

I'm newish to the forums but have just chucked myself in and posted as and when...

Not everyone replies - who cares - this happens on any forums you can participate in but nobody had been cliquey, abusive or w*nky to me ... in fact most people have been nothing but nice
