A strange thing this. When i left the cinema i absolutely hated it. Now i've had time to mull it over and let it sink in it is doubtless one of the best films i have ever seen; beautifully crafted, superbly acted throughout and with an important message regarding the future of mankind.

All this despite the fact that, as a pagan, i found certain aspects of it's portrayal of Judeo-Christian dogma offensive and as a human being it's use of gratuitous violence appalling.

Go see it, it will blow your mind.

It flops at the box office, suffers mass walkouts and receives the lowest possible rating in an audience poll for Cinemascore.

Disappointing but hardly surprising. Am i the only one who thought it was a work of genius?
