24hrs makes ... thanks to you lovely lot!!

Following on from my body confidence thread and the great feedback from those of you who took the time to reply - my confidence is now super high and I have put a "warts and all" pic up for my friends to see (still not quite ready to go public!

)

But wanted to thank you all for the positive feedback .... maybe the confidence was there but I just needed someone to help me realise it.

I just wanted to say that I felt the same way, still do to some extent but as many have said on the other thread... who has a perfect body?

Even supermodels have hang ups and bits they don't like.

You look incredible. You may not like all of the bits you feel aren't perfect but others will. They'll accept you for being you. Love the person you are and the way you look.

Acceptance of ourselves is hard. We are our own worst critics at times.

If i could send you private mail id have shown you a couple of my friend pics which show my worst flaws.

I have a tummy overhang which could count as a mini skirt if I really used my imagination.

I'm nowhere near perfect but hopefully people see past that

Well I've been working upon it for the last 15 months but my post yesterday helped me find the right perspective and realise that what the responders were saying was right ... so not necessarily easy but having a word with the people on here and myself just helped coax it out of me!!
