...what are you likely to order?

I tend to order items I don't or can't cook at home, that usually means fish and shell fish.

Since I cook from scratch most of the time, I know the cost of starting materials, and am not prepared to pay over the odds for something I can knock up at home with ease.

How about you?

Steak for me as we rarely have it home as Siren isn't a huge fan of red meat. She'll order fish though, as that's something I don't really like very much.

Duck is another favourite when I eat out, as I seldom cook it except for Christmas.

It is also my favourite meat.

Also like goose too!

I'm a bit of a creature of habbit and stick to things I know I will like, usually meat dishes like steak, mixed grills or ribs.

I'm too tight to pay for something new in case I don't like it and leave hungry lol

I'll usually order a fish dish, if there is a good sounding one on the menu. If not, a rare steak.

Whilst in France a couple of weeks ago, I went to a small Bistro type cafe, and didn't really understand the menu, so ordered a fish dish, because I knew that word in french, and recognised the word for prawns. I ended up getting a huge fish platter with prawns, scallops, mussels, oysters, crab, and various other fish. It was delicious.

Probably salmon as its my fave but it obviously depends on the cuisine of the restaurant I'm in. If its Sunday afternoon either pork or beef.

There are certain things I can't bring myself to eat - lobster or crab as I can't eat anything that scares me, or duck as my in laws live on the riverside and the ducks and their duclings are so cute that I could never eat it

Was going to ask if you fancy meeting up at the usual place beforehand on Sunday, nevermind.

I tend to order that sounds good on the menu or something I like mostly. I do like to try something new or something I wouldn't cook as well though.

in the night garden

I always go for something I wouldn't normally eat at home.

Usually something exotic and spicey but ultimately it's usually disappointing. I think I'll stick to steak.
