"It sucks. I'm a public sector employee and face redundancy again (three times in 8 years). ![]() It looks bleak. I'm now funded by Europe and its very unlikely it will be renewed. Youth work reliant on European funding.. It's almost laughable. Except I won't be able to pay my rent.

But take that away from it and you will find that the ones running the country are just cunts in their attitude towards ordinary working people.

"this is just a thinly veiled attempt to divide and conquer public sector workers by playing the feds & screws off against the rest .... it'll end in tears and tragedy " this..... so its okay for police and prison officers... but not for nurses and teachers for example... and i hope that is the point that is made and that is why it won't work.... I have been working for the civil service and certain promises were made at the time that have not been kept... so 1% pay increases for the last 6 years.....

It's disgusting I agree ....what I don't get though...is when people know they are obviously in the wrong. They try and deflect the government's attitude against the labour party...rather then just owning up to its wrong! PS not aimed at you _abio ![]()

"In simple terms we can't keep spending what we haven't got . Doing just that for almost a generation has caused the problems we have now ." Try more like thirty years. "So while I agree that all public sector workers should earn more , if the money isn't there then how should it be funded ? " It is already sorted. Hard Brexit causes crash in value of pound combined with no access without costs and tariffs in major world markets. Financial depression, birth rate drops, haves hunker down and survive, poor struggle to survive and become grateful for ant morsel they get dropped from the table of the moneyed. Finally a truly stratified society where the rich can put the poor back in their prison of poverty. You have to remember Tories want a return to Victorian Values.
