Summer is pretty much over

So what are you looking forward to with Autumn/Fall just peeking it's head around the corner.

Cosy nights in

Warm blankets to snuggle up in

Hot chocolate with marshmallows

Crisp mornings filled with a burst of warm colours of the leaves as they change

Wooly knits

Hot cider

Logfires

Can you tell I'm an Autumn baby

Autumn is my favourite month love the changing colours of the trees and air gradually becoming more crisp.

But to look forward to, I have a trip to France for a week coming up shortly, work trip but should be an excellent experience with what we have planned, then a weekend in Weymouth the following month then Christmas

The smell of bonfires, my birthday, Halloween, crispy leaves to crunch on, conkers, the smell of the log burner in the pub a few doors away and jumping in puddles.

Autumn is my favourite season

If only we could get a season on demand. Pop a request on your app, enjoy a bit of aitumn and when you want some change, get a bit of summer back.

Now why can't these climate change fuckers do that..solve the problem imaginatively rather than just blayhering on about it.

I get to wear my favourite boots, get my coats out, figure out which hat/scarf/gloves combo I fancy each day, crunch leaves on my walk to work and smell cold air and woodsmoke. I like the autumn.

Afraid not, the cold and wet plays havoc with my (broken) neck and the sun and warm weather makes it feel better so spring and summer are win/wins for me

I'm good with autumn

Winter just does not work for me,I work with my hands mostly outside. My job is tough on the body and my hands take the brunt of it. No matter how much moisturiser and hand cream I use my hands suffer immensely.

My birthday! Farmers markets with that autumnal chill in the air. Roasted squash and stews and all types of warming food. Carved pumpkins and an excuse for dressing up. Apples and damson gin and hot chocolate with cinnamon. Thick throws and chunky scarves and my best stompy boots. I love autumn so much I'll add a heart emoji.
