Cliches

I was thinking about porn cliches recently (stay with me here), and how I've not actually witnessed most of the famous ones. Now I've watched a lot of smut, from different decades, but I've never seen the classic "plumber comes to fix the sink" scenario, most pornstars aren't enhanced blondes, and the last 30 years of porn generally hasn't featured the stereotypical funk soundtrack.

It got me thinking about Fab cliches. Everyone has heard about the "Fab-straight" men that are gay or at least bi, but I've never seen that for myself. Every time my pics get fabbed by guys, they're listed as gay or bi on their profiles.

Are there any other Fab cliches that you have don't ring true in your experience, or have you found this place has lived down to the stereotypes?

Is the logic that their cross dressing makes it less gay?? Unfortunately I've set my filters to not receive messages from men, so I miss out on this kind of comedy.

I think, being cynical, that they think putting bi on their profile will put some women off this slimming their prospects down... I don't know

No. There was no deluge. Maybe (to take the analogy further) there might be a perfect storm with a pic on page 1, being on lots of hotlists, having a status that draws attention in a bustling geographical area, a wide age and interest range and the like, but I have yet to experience any of those things so have remained deluge free.

I think it's a cliche that the site is full of fakes and timewasters... In the years we've been here it's not something we've had a problem with.

I agree with that. Very few have messed me around here, most have been great.
