Undies. Anti-bite stuff. Sun tan lotion and after sun. A hat. Money. Camera. Small first aid kit. Handful of t-shirts and shorts. Spare pair of merrels. Wash kit. List of emergency numbers just in case. Travel docs. I would also highly recommend the travel size version of Pass The Pigs to amuse away any dead hours. Baby wipes. Always baby wipes. (Photo of an endless traffic jam on the M62 to remind you of home maybe). Have fun.

A really good, comfy pair of boots (preferably old & well-worn), with cotton socks. Artificial fabrics will cause your feet to sweat, snd can cause blisters.

Do you need vaccinations when going to Thailand ?

It's incredibly humid at this time of year so things will dry fast.

Insect repellent is a good idea, but good quality clothes are very cheap so don't worry

Food is very cheap as well, didn't need immodium last time I went.

Plasters or a very comfortable pair of shoes are vital

Thanks for all the replays think I've thought of most things so far. According to my lad though the gear out there will be way to small for us. He's 6ft6 and I'm 6ft1. 1 size does not fit all

Having spent years backpacking the most important thing is looking after you passport and money. Buy yourself a discrete money belt that fastens around your waist and can't be seen under your tshirt. Keep all documents and cash in it.
