For me (as a die hard Forest fan) it's not Man U or the local fans that are disliked. It's the glory hunters from distance that have no affinity to the club they 'support'. Liverpool had these 'fans' in abundance in the 1980's. The worst noise in the world to me is listening to bloody Essex boy Olly Murs drone on abut Man U in that whiny accent of his. True local fans like yourself I have no issue with

As a Bury fan through and through.....probably through again I don't hate United purely because of the Nevilles and nobody else but do hate that they take away the majority of out catchment area really such a shame that we struggle because of the big clubs.

Also don't hate the fans that try get to a few games a season just don't really like the shirt in pub 'fans'

Sky TV have ruined football and unfortunately a lot of their punters think their viewing cards are season tickets for "their" team instead of getting off their areas and actually going. You can't blame the players if someone offered me £200k a week I wouldn't turn it down because it was grossly overpaying me. AMF

"There is one factor that nobody has mentioned about which team you should support, one that shouldn`t make a difference but in some towns and cities it`s very much the case, more so many years ago. This one factor links Man U. and Everton, it links Liverpool and Man City and so on! I do wonder how many "true reds" are supporting the wrong team!

The clever ones will work it out!

You on about religion?? If so no place in football

Don't talk soft. Some clubs were started due to religion, maybe not so much in this country but many others.

I'm not at all religious

You`ve hit the nail on the head! I agree that religion should have no place other than in a church, but as stated, a lot of clubs were very much religion influenced one way or another at the start of the teams life.

So the likes of rangers and especially Celtic with their over the top religious bigotry and pro Ira anti English chants and banners and following that the political views and chants about Lee rigby etc are all acceptable in this day and age are they?? You could argue years ago racism was acceptable at football does that still apply today???"

No that has no place but then you have moved the goal posts since your first question.

1 question mark is totally acceptable btw. Banging a few out dosent add any more strength to the question your asking.

2 mistakes,2 goals. baily and Jones at fault. Simple. Darmian cannot play at left back and was the weakness that Hughes mentioned in his interview before the game. Both goals came feom that side. Think he's done at utd IMO

Think his injury put Jose off and i believe if Shaw gets back to full fitness and gets a run of games. He can show the form that made us buy him in the first place plus blind is very useful in his own right. Better passing ability than Shaw,Darmian and rose IMO

Moved to Darlington having lived on banks of Tyne - once you pick a team you cant change.

I did however not miss a Darlington home game for three seasons a few years ago and I have to say that it was far better than watching the premiership prima donners.
