On a site like Fab "wittols" can't be dead!

A "wittol", according to Wiki, is a man who knows or even condones his wife's enjoyment of coitus with another man or men; a contented cuckold. Yet the Collins English Dictionary says the use of this word is extinct.

I don't believe it.

Come on, hands up for wittols! And let's resurrect this word into common usage on Fab! We could save the English language ....

And which man on Fab doesn't enjoy being a wittol or meeting the wife of a wittol? I do!

never heard of the word prior to it being in yesterdays newspaper stating its to be removed from dictionary.

I've tried to get the word into my conversation all day. D, I hope you did better (even without your device).

As to a cuckold, but a wittol by another name. I'm not sure how sweet they smell, though.
