Save the Wittol

Apparently Collins are going to remove the following definition from their dictionary because no-one uses it any more:

Wittol - A man who knows his wife's infidelity and submits to it; a tame cuckold; -- so called because the cuckoo lays its eggs in the wittol's nest.

Can we start a campaign to save the wittol?
