Getting your male member to sing!

Referring to the male members of society here...

plenty of men are happy to sing in the car or bath or wherever.. but having recently attending a couple of 'pop-up' choirs, male attendance is drastic..

Is it a 'masculine' thing? A couple of men almost joined yesterday on dropping partners off, then looked like rabbits in headlights and scarpered!

In addition to the Welsh Valleys, South Yorkshire has a proud heritage of male voice choirs with Bolsterstone and Worral choirs providing entertainment for the natives.

Their concerts are usually good piss ups too...

Think a lot of guys tend to care a lot about attention, how they are perceived, how masculine they look and seem in every day life and that is completely ok. I suppose it then maybe let's in a little bit of fear joining a choir, some may find it threatens that reputations a little and hence the reaction. Can only guess really. I would rock up there though, although, my voice may not be up to scratch :O

But Yeah, where are the singing penis?

Plenty of male voice choirs up here too, but most seem to be ageing, cannot get younger members
