The only people that turn my bowels to liquid and make me hyperventulate. This is a constant source of amusement to my family and friends. Thankfully there's not many of them about.
I remember out shopping one Saturday and Zippo's circus was on the Common. The clowns were out giving fliers, one was a dwarf. I was so scared I nearly knocked people out the way to get on the bus (that I didn't want) to avoid the dwarf (((shudders)))!
This terror of dwarfs started when I was about 6/7. I'm nearly 50 and I remember the incident clearly. I was walking down the road with my mum and there were two children walking ahead of us holding hands.
I remember running up to them to say hello and they turned around.
Now they were the same size as me but they were old. My 6 year old brain couldn't compute the fact that children had old faces: they just looked wrong and scary!
I remember running crying back to my mum and her saying, why are you crying, the dwarfs won't hurt you.
Ever since...(((Shudders again)))... My adult brain tells me not to be a big baby, but I can't help it, they still look...well, wrong and scary! | |||

"Of course you cant help it ,that fear formed a synapsis on that day and it has been wired that way since .. Its why so many people become scared of wasps and bees when as children,they see there mom or dad constantly showing fear of them and that fear is wired in. poor you ...it would take a lot of de-programming now to take that fear away ..hypnotism ..might help or just accept it and ask for understanding . | |||
