Just wondering why so many people dont bother to put a photo on as their avatar, also seeing more and more profiles come up with a one line profile or I will fill this in later then you see they have been members for quite a while, we can understand that it isnt easy for everyone to get sexually explicit photos of themselves but even a normal photo would show they are genuinely making an effort

sorry you feel that way but the reason we asked is how would a person decide if they were interested in meetin you from reading your profile, very little information? the profile helps you as well as other people

Agreed. You are right. A profile does help both ways.

I get more mail than I need .. a profile and pic would only escalate my mail to astronomical proportions.

So...... keeping a low profile means I can meet as often as I like/need and not have to put in too much effort.

The main reason we asked this question is that we have received replies from people with profiles with very little information and as there was nothing to see what sort of person they are we dont reply to them, then they get back with a stroppy message about ignoring them, how can you win?

People do what they wish to do. Not everyone is comfortable with having pictures. And not everyone is actively wanting to meet people.

Dont worry about how successful people are by their profile, as long as you are having fun then thats all that counts. If you dont like profiles with limited information, then just move on to a more detailed one which suits your needs.

we asked the question but difficult to get sensible answers on here, but we will just stick to the way we prefer and ignore messages with little or no profile, if they cant be bothered to make the effort then we cant be bothered to answer them without some idea of what they enjoy and are into etc, as for the ones who come back with your ignoring me well you will just have to deal with that, why have a place to display a profile otherwise

Some people arent very good at conversing. I find it hard when a guy messages me and I say, tell me about yourself, and he says what do you want to know. I automatically switch off then, if I have to pull teeth to get any kind of chat going then its too much time and effort.

If you are interested in someone but they dont have much information, then perhaps a message to ask more about them will help. Then they may give you a detailed response. If they dont and it feels like too much hard work, then it loses its fun value, so search for someone else.

You've knocked the nail on the head here ... use your own personal filter to decide who you're interested in. No profile / avatar pic then no chance. Sorted!

Not everyone can get photos of themselves for their profiles which is totally understandable, but filling in a bit of info on a profile only takes a few minutes and lets others see if they are interested, which seems the sencible way to go otherwise you are just replying blind to people and it takes time to reply to people which not everyone has so just think for both the person with the profile and others looking at it then it makes sense to have some info on there for both parties

My take on it....when people write to me the first thing I look at is age and location, then I look at the profile.

All before I look at their message.

If their profile is crap I delete the message, it isn't difficult, it is only a click of a button.

I don't feel offended that they have written to me without filling out....it's only a swingers website and not the end of the world for me.

thanks for everyones input, all we can say is if anyone decides to get in touch with us that has a profile with little or no info please dont be offended that we dont reply and please dont send abusive messages back for ignoring you, we dont have the ability to read peoples minds and never will have so for us the profile is what we get our first impression from and take things from there.
