Ladies - Bra help please

Hi ladies.

I've ordered a couple of bras size 38 DD and it's a bit tight on the back and.

Should I be trying a 40D or a 40E ?

If it's tight around the back go up a size to 40. The letter is the cup size.

If you go up a back size you would go down a cup size if you know what I mean So I'd say 40D

Guessing you're dressing for pleasure and not everyday bra wearer so getting a bra extender should help. Couple of quid online

The wires in a bra should sit between the breasts flat against the chest wall. If they dig in or ride up too far into the armpit the cup size is too big. If they don't sit flat you need a smaller back size and a bigger cup size.

If the cup fits ok but the bra feels too tight around the back you need to go up a back size but down a cup size otherwise it will be too baggy on the cups. So in this case instead of a 38dd you need a 40d. The cups will fit the same but you will have more room around the back.

Does the cup fit correctly? No bulges, flat to the chest between breasts etc? If so 40 D is what you need. If not 40E.

Yeah, having judged the ones I bought today I think I'll go to a 40D
