I do like a nice sausage now and then.

Just the right length and girth, with a good meat content!

I put Lincolnshire slightly ahead of Cumberland...

M & S have a chicken sausage, that is wrong, so wrong, chicken sausage is not a sausage!

Absolute garbage, everyone knows the haggis has two legs shorter than the other two, for running around hills and could never climb over any wall!

Chicken sausage, good god no! Local butcher does a fantastic pork and apple or even better pork and black pudding.

We had orange chilli sausages last week for the first time, found them in morrisons. They were delicious the first time we had them on BBQ but the next time for dinner not so good. Got to be Lincolnshire in the morning and Cumberland for evening meal.

Just to clarify something especially to our friends North of the Border, the square sausage is not a sausage!

Farmers market was on today and just bought some 'wild pidgeon' sausage, all the sausage talk made me hungry!

Sausage must have a high meat content and cannot, cannot be square

If it's to go with mash it's got to be the old English that my butcher makes.

If it's for bbq it's got to be his texts hot links (they are approximately as hot as a madras & DELICIOUS).

Lorne or square is indeed a sausage.

Even the ones where the butcher has embedded a black pudding or haggis in it to give a circle of a pudding inside the square sausage.

This should be an integral part of the Brexit negotiations and in Scottish independence,,,the English sausage is a finely crafted torpedo of flavour, the Scottish lorne is a square pile of mince
