Society representation in swinging.

Is the full cross section of society represented in the swinginging scene?

Stereotypes of swingers have generally involved lavish lifestyle types, or skanky sorts sleeping with all the neighbours (tongue in cheek)

But are there truly all sections of society represented, or do we find it's more of a particular class ( I hate that term as it's defunct in modern day).

Discuss...if you wish !!

I've come across a good selection over the years. Tho I avoid the chavvy skanks and posh totty extremes like the plague. Met loads of professional people (as in teachers, doctors, police etc)

I think there's a pretty broad cross section of society although with the need for anonymity by many you would will never know the true demographic.

Exploring your sexual literacy isn't particular to a class or profession - though I haven't seen anyone from my industry other than me on this site.

I'm not really into swinging per se (not into the club scene or bedroom excursions with couples), but thought I might get in contact with at least one person who was into the same things as me. So far, nada.

I don't know. I only read what I know on Fab. And I take most with a pinch of salt. I notice a lot of nurses/teachers here, of that's who I'm attracted to somehow.

Classes? I've never asked a question like that to someone or made x judgement.

I'd say like anything in life, it's going to be very mixed, what type of people are here.

In our experience outside of fab, eg clubs, and the friends we have made, and our swinging circle if you like, I would say we are all from the same walk of life, in fact in general, our upbringing, our job sectors, our parenting, our home life and even our homes are all eerily similar, I would put us all in neither chav nor posh, what I would say though, is like attracts like, and perhaps that's why we are all such good friends, we also find we are put off by the same sorts of people, does this mean we inadvertently class ourselves, who knows, but what I do know is we are the same in fab as we are in vanilla, so whatever ' class ' people may choose to put us in, it would be the same irrespective

Good summary! I think people only class themselves in order to portray an image. I never look at myself in a class sense, more in a case of how I behave.
