Born in Portsmouth, grew up in Plymouth. Aged 16 moved to Wiltshire and then 4 years ago moved to Cumbria.

So basically ive moved from south to north.

You sound a very confident person and I,m pleased it worked out for you. but at such a young age to leave home it could of been so easy a different story and I,m sure it is for many that take this route and thats not leaveing the country either you must be one of the lucky ones so many dangers out there for a young person to do what you did and no one to look over you.

I thought I could find somewhere to live in the US, Virginia is the closest I came, until recent events.

I'd give anything to be back in NYC. My problem is that I couldn't afford it. My mother just sold my childhood home and when I heard the selling price I almost died.

And I refuse to be 30 years old and living in a one bedroom apartment in a crappy neighborhood with Marc and my two ginormous dogs

But Vermont or Colorado sound nice. Maybe a few other places.
