morning, just a quick one guys.. If you get a message from somebody that is over the age limit in your search Patton, do you auto delete it or read and have a look at her/him ? Dicky D

For us, the ages are just a guideline. People don't always look their age the people are more important than the numbers.

I like to be flexible. If a woman/couple is outside my age, or any other, range that does not automatically write them off. There are other factors to consider.

I sometimes find it ironic that I am Outside someone's age bracket and yet I am probably fitter than a lot of other men which are younger than myself I regularly spar in judo and fencing with younger men in their 20s and I beat them, but what do get from keeping fit a bar are well never mind lol

It would depend how far over, a couple of years wouldn't be a massive issue, but had guys 20 and more years over straight in the bin

Mines only at 99 so everyone can message me. I used to have filters set then play forum games which involved getting messages so then I'd have to take them back off again.

But with the amount of messages I actually get, filters are redundant anyway

If however they were asking for a meet then we will usually politely decline. We then wonder why they couldn't save us all some time and read our profile in the first place.

Hi there op

We have an age bracket on ours for no other reason than I'm quite young and a lot of older ladies have said I'm too young for them as much as I prefer them that way!

However I'm happy to chat with anyone. The lady I play with alone is older and she us great. It's just a guideline. I will give anyone a go

My age limits are just a guide. I often check older people's profiles if I like the look of them.

I'll check the profile, but the message I receive is a greater influence on my responding. If there's no effort then I usually don't respond.

I was speaking to a ladie and she was 50+. Her body was something to be amazed by. Just wow. Wouldnt have said she was in her 30's never mind 50's. Its just a number.

I think you might be getting a little confused.

In the message filters section you can prevent people that don't meet your preferred age range from messaging you. However not everyone uses that filter, us for example. We speak with a wide variety of people and so we do not use the site filter to prevent people outside our age range from contacting us.

I believe this is what the OP is getting at.

I think you might be getting a little confused.
