Single guy and verifications?

I've received a fair few comments about my verifications, however, addressing singles and couples alike...

Two main questions...

1. Is there such a thing as "not enough verifications so a bit reluctant"

Or...

2. Can a single guy have too many verifications before it becomes intimidating or off putting?

You'll find that some people will feel either way about it and others won't care a jot!

I personally wonder why people hide the summary, and then other times I think about doing it myself

Haha! See I've been told it's intimidating and off putting!

i replied on a similar post. When i met Mr he had a lot of veries. Never did him any harm.. Although i had a similar amount when we first got together as a couple.. yet it was me that was outputting.

Some will be put off.... others wont. Does it bother you???

We only have 85ish on this profile...we have met a lot more from previous profiles x

I've been told on more than one occasion that I have "too many verifications". Mine show that I play with established swingers and that I occasionally attend socials and clubs.

I think it's entirely reasonable that people want to see who you've played with and how often you play, it gives an idea of if you're a class act as opposed to the sort of guy who "queued up at the back of a van" for a "meet"

Its all fair enough and you can't appeal to everyone but I've definitely felt that on occasion the other persons jealousies/insecurities have been a factor in criticising my verifications in the the first place. No problem, it's best to avoid such dramas in the first place.

I have the opposite problem.. As a new site member I have none and females have been reluctant to give me a chance dispite meeting their own search criteria.. I know I could go to a social or event, but I am in the back of beyond of Scotland and that's very hard to arrange... I am willing to do anything to get my first veri, it's frustrating...

What is an 'established swinger'? I'm interested in what you describe as a "class act". People that meet strangers for sex. Is that classy?

Verifications prove fuck all. You could have multiple other profiles on gay sites, bareback gangbang sites, fetish sites. You could be the one in the back of the van that men are queuing to fuck.

People use verifications to assess if they will meet someone. They can use them however they want. No point worrying about it.

3 verifications in 6 months may put someone off as too many. 30 verifications in a year may put someone off as not enough.

I find it a pointless system. It proves nothing. There's a real world outside this site. People may be fucking and not being verified every time. Crazy talk I know!!

Eveyrhing about verifications is subjective. It really doesn't matter what you the think yourself, only what the person that like you thinks about them.

I'm just glad you all know what I get up to in fab, and not what I get up to elsewhere.

I'm sure if someone has a low opinion of men in general they could quite understandly form such cynical views and sometimes they could very well be justified.

I clicked on your profile and expected to see hundreds!! If people find them intimidating and off putting then who cares, they're not going to be meeting you I guess.

I don't care about them, I never read them nor do I display mine. What I get get up to and with who is no one else's business. They are mostly bigging up someone to try and get another meet anyway! Like others have said, some will care, others won't.

I suppose it could be said that more veris equates to more partners and therefore a greater chance of an sti.

In reality it's not necessarily the case. It only takes one unfortunate play to get an STI, while another person could have hundreds of bare back veris and be very lucky

I have a load but mine is over a 2 year period that is 45 a year

Out of those 5 have been social events, some have been social at clubs and others people have left the site.

I probably this year have played 9 of 10 people so just over 1 a month - if you look at that I attend a club once or twice a month, and don't really play is fine
