When you've got a social meet planned, they're aren't here... and you're giving them a chance haha......

15 mins to half hour, depending on how much I really want to meet them, if they aren't keeping in touch en route and are late.

If they are and a plausible problem has come up, I'll wait longer.

No second chances if they don't.

Thanks ---- I'm in "benefit of doubt" mode right now... traffic etc and not being naughty texting while driving.... I'll give it a while longer, plus the beer is cold so is helping!

I waited an hour once and later found out she arranged 2 meets at the same time with me and another guy

and they sat not far away watching me

she later told me she definitely made the right choice but wanted an apology from me for not meeting her

I did apologise but not sure what for

i often think about her

That was a brass neckand a half she had. CHeeky mare.

Reminds me of when a guy didn't show and when I emailed to ask why, he took two weeks to reply. I don't give out my house number - because of all the no-shows - so he said I was weird for expecting him to call me from the street to get my number. Obviously calling somebody on a mobile phone in the street screams, "Hey everybody, I'm a filthy tranny chaser going for bum sex with one right now!" Who knew? I should've apologised but I was in shock for days.

Yep it's not too bad - still not here, but it's a lovely place and the sun is out. Only problem it was a 40 minute drive, so I can't have another. Heading off in a sec!

We'll usually wait for 30 mins or so.

If they've kept us updated and we feel they're being genuine, we might wait longer.

You can generally get a feel for someone stringing you along and those who are genuinely running late and who will show.

How long would depend on where we were waiting and how far we'd travelled. If it's a pub or cafe as long as it takes to have the first drink and unless we've heard from them with an ETA we would then make tracks.

I once arranged to meet a man, not from Fab. I arrived early, waited and waited. Then I rang him, no answer, I rang again and eventually a man answered asking if I was his daughter, seems my date was involved in a serious traffic accident and was being airlifted to hospital and I had spoken to the paramedic. Six months later I met my date who was a complete disappointment.
